Former WWE Superstar and current TNA wrestler Jeff Hardy is one of the most popular attractions in professional wrestling. He made his name in the late 1990s and early 2000s as part of the WWE’s booming tag team division, along with his brother Matt, in the Attitude Era.
Hardy found some success in WWE as a singles competitor, winning the Intercontinental Championship four times, the World Heavyweight Championship twice and the WWE Championship once. Hardy left WWE in 2009, but would like to make his career whole by finishing there.
“I think there’s a huge possibility down the road. I’m not sure when, but I think both Matt and myself would love to end our careers in the WWE and it’d be super, double great to be able to have a few more good ones with the Dudley Boyz, for sure.” Hardy told Ric Flair on his WOOOOO! Nation podcast, transcribed by WrestlingInc.com. “As far as us returning [to WWE] and having some more matches with them, it all depends on how long they’re going to be there and how long it takes us to get there. I mean, but, definitely, it’s a possibility. I’m just not sure when right now.”
Hardy mentions the Dudley Boyz as an example because the duo recently returned to WWE and has been involved in a number of major storylines. Like the Hardys, the Dudleys left WWE for TNA earlier in their careers.
