No matter what went down at UFC 192, no matter if Daniel Cormier defended his UFC light heavyweight title or Alexander Gustafsson seized his second opportunity for the crown, we knew we’d be interested in what Jon Jones had to say.
Shortly after Cormier saw his hand raised in a close split decision versus the Swede, and Jones gave the world some insight.

Jones hasn’t stepped into the cage since defeating Cormier to defend the title currently resting upon “DC’s” waist. Jones would find himself in a heap of trouble months later, after fleeing the scene of a car accident involving a pregnant woman. The UFC quickly suspended Jones indefinitely, stripping the longest-reigning light heavyweight champion of his title.
Suspending Jones meant the UFC would need to find a replacement for the now-vacant title fight involving top contender Anthony “Rumble” Johnson. In stepped Cormier, who defeated Johnson via third-round submission to claim the title he couldn’t earn four months prior.
As the story unfolded, Jones avoided jail time and was sentenced to 18 months of probation, essentially clearing the way for his UFC return should he and the promotion find it appropriate.
There’s no word on whether or not Jones will be making his return, but if his quickly deleted video offers any insight, you’d guess it’s a good bet.
